Job Title: Field Installation Technician

Job Description:

We are hiring Field Installation Technicians to join our team in Northborough, MA. The primary responsibilities include performing site assessments, writing documentation, inventory management, cable installation, equipment installation and testing, and ensuring job completion within budget and time constraints. Technicians will work independently or with customers as needed to complete projects and adhere to safety standards and company policies.

Responsibilities:

• Perform site assessments and develop risk mitigation plans.
• Write documentation in adherence with standards and requirements.
• Manage inventory and report shortages.
• Install cable conveyances and office infrastructure.
• Install, replace, or repair DC power equipment and batteries.
• Program DC power plant controllers and perform battery testing.
• Complete quality checklists and address non-conformances.
• Perform equipment testing and turn-up.
• Supervise multiple sites and manage project inventory.
• Keep project management and stakeholders updated on project progress.
• Accurately track time and expenses and submit reports on time.
• Mentor lower-level installation technicians and enforce company policies.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of safety standards and installation quality.
• Ability to manage multiple sites and inventory effectively.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Green Card or US Citizenship required.
• Familiarity with Telcordia GR-1275-CORE standards preferred.
